Welcome to the parish of Akaroa-Banks Peninsula, which is a partnership between the Anglican and Presbyterian congregations.

We have two historic churches in Akaroa, St Peters at 10 Rue Balguerie and Trinity Church on Rue Lavaud.  They are usual open everyday between 9am and 5pm and you are most welcome to visit them to rest, pray or just have a time of reflection.  A ten minute slide show illustrating the history of St Peters is available to view at that church.

As a sign of Christian unity our congregations worship together at 9.30am each Sunday.  We alternate between St Peters on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and Trinity on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.  (A special community-orientated service is normally held on the 5th Sunday)
